This class ranks up there with some of the most pointless classes I have ever taken. You go to this class for 1 hour a week, and the only reason to go or stay awake is to hear his amazing stories. Imagine taking a class on aviation from a guy who has taken part in basically every major event in the field. He met one of the Wright brothers, was friends with the guy who designed the first working rockets, met all the presidents, and was the director of NASA. He is very hard to approach with questions and is not student friendly at all, probably because he sees us as nothing compared to him. The worst part is the fact that there are only 6 grades: 4 hws and 2 tests, so each thing is worth a crazy amount. My only recommendation is to try your best to get good grades on the hw and hope that he is leniant on the tests. I just took the final a few days ago and he changed 2 of the problems WHILE we were taking the test, completely screwing us over. Welcome to college.

a really old man (this guy met orville wright). this guy has done anything and everything, spoiled russian spies, built nukes, designed the b1 and b2, spied on the russians, met every president, he showed us slides of satilete pictures that were still classified. really really intresting, good class only one hour a week. 4 homeworks with 2 problems each over the course of the semester. not that bad. he gives you the equations and all his lecture notes in class. you dont even have to take notes. 1 midterm, you can drop the class if you do bad no penalty i think, and 1 final. be sure to study for his test though, and you should prob store the equations into your calculator. not a lot of grades so they all have a lot of weight. go to his review sessions before the exams and hell tell you what you need to know. fun class, theres no real point in reviewing this guy, only ase majors take him and you have no choice but to take him.

He will blow you away with everything he's done. Wow! His class is ok, but watch out for the midterm and final. He curves grades where he purposely gives about 15% A's I believe. Very few fail.
