WORST CLASS EVER. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER. All semester long, it just gets worse and worse. I will shoot myself in the face before I ever take her as a prof again.

I agree with the other review- going to her lectures are worthless (except to sign the attendence sheet- make a friend in class to do that for you!) since she never covers what you are supposed to be reading in the book. She is a biochemist and gets way off the subject all the time. The project was VERY poorly explained and took forever to do. The tests were really tricky and picky too, the only good thing is that she gives big curves, like 20 pts. Worthless class- take a different teacher if you can!!

Do not, under any circumstances, take this professor. By the middle of the semester, half the class had dropped or didn't bother showing up. The class average at the end of the semester was a 71. Her lectures are worthless and way too detailed for an intro class, her tests are nearly impossible to pass and the project is way too time consuming. Don't even consider her. Throughout the whole semester I was embarassed to say that intro to nutrition was one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. But I'm not joking.

the roughest part of her class was a pointless, huge (think 100 page) project... don't take the class. it's not any fun, her lectures are terrible, and the tests are insane

She can never stay on topic during a lecture and ends up not being able to cover half of the things she is supposed to in class because she talks too much about her specialty: lipids. The test are very tricky and the project she assigns is about 50 pages at least when you get done with it, and that's when you don't even impress her and get a B. You'll spend lots of hours working on this project and find out 2 days before it's due that you didn't do it right because she never clearly defined what you were supposed to do. Don't ever take this professor. She is the worst in the department!!!

She expects a lot from an introductory course and expects everyone to know what she's thinking. She is not clear with her lectures and often makes mistakes on own her tests making it harder for the students to learn. She is unclear with assignments and the project she assigns. Going to her office hours do not help either.
