Her class was one of the most beneficial classes I've taken while at UT. She gives you an honest grade and is willing to help you a lot outside of class. If you put fair effort, it's not that hard to make an A. She doesn't give tests, but you really want to go to class because her lectures contain very useful information you will apply in everyday-life communication.

Professor Loescher makes it her goal for her BA 324 class to be the most beneficial class that you will take at the University of Texas. And she accomplishes her mission! DEFINATELY take her class if you get a chance.

Loescher is a heartless wench! Her grading is completely inconsistent, and in order to make an A you will now have to spend hours each week putting forth your best effort. She claims a "departmental meeting" with the dean made her grade stricter and now over 80% of her spring 2-3pm class has B's. She said she will fix her grades so that her GPA of class will be between 3.2 and 3.4. How's that for the "great" teacher everyone claims? She is heartless in grading, blunt and rude when you question her, and gives no mercy for "not getting to know her". Unless you speak out in class a lot (which is always more of a distraction than helpful) and go to her office hours at least 3 times with legit questions, you will Not get full participation grade (100/1000 total points). The consulting project will take up a lot of time especially at the end of the semester and other classes aren't required this. This project is on top of all the weekly assignments and 2 in class writing tests. Bottom line, don't take Loescher unless you like an overbearing, heartless, fake, insincere, witch of a teacher. She will aim to embarrass you with your 3 speeches, and will have no mercy on her subjective grades.

The best professor that I've known! She keeps the class very interesting and fun. She is very friendly and willing to help others. I highly recommend people to take her class.

ignore the comments posted on 12/12/04. it must be from a bitter kid who just couldnt write a decent business paper. bottom line, you will learn all you need to know about the business world from her. she may make the class tough at times but it is all worth it in the end. you will learn to ace all your interviews when recruiting as well. overall, if you dont mind putting alittle time in...you will get a good grade and will definately learn more from her than in any other class.
