Review from a student who took MAN385
As an MPA, it is hard to keep up with all of the MBA chatter in this class. There are basically all MBA students and 3 MPA students, so it is kinda hard to get a word in which will eventually hurt your participation grade. That's the only knock because participation is 40%. No tests, high amount of reading but it is all covered in class and they are all Harvard Business cases so it's an easy read. He is funny, and I would recommend his class if you have prior experience in finance and specifically valuating companies. It has been hard for me to pick the valuation portion up in time to speak during class and earn participation. I'm taking it right now, but so far it has been a good, informative class (even if I won't make an A). - Adam H.
