Review from a student who took CMS 334 and CMS 344
Knapp is great and the classes aren't that hard. Both Nonverbal and Lying and Deception have 3 multiple choice tests. Nonverbal also has 4 (I think) short assignments. Lying and Deception has optional evening video viewings for extra credit. He gives out review sheets for the tests and if you know everything on the review sheets, then you'll be fine on the tests. The lectures are pretty entertaining, especially in Lying and Deception, where he has a magician and a police officer come in to give guest lectures.

Lectures are so-so, he pauses too much, and the power points are obnoxious! He has sounds attached to each slide. He is known for writing textbooks, he should stick to that.
