Review from a student who took E 342
He is a very nice man when you get to know him. In class, he does not get to know you that well and insists on calling you either Mr. or Ms. followed by your last name. His lectures tend to go off on a tangent, but he knows the material very well. He also seems a bit one-sided in his opinions. Grammar plays a great deal when writing your essays, but if you have no problem with grammar, the class should be a breeze. The books are a little boring compared to other English classes, but they are easy reads. Overall, he is a sweet, old man.
