This was by far one of the best IB classes I have taken. She is a very interesting lecturer. She really knows her stuff and is excited about teaching. Ask questions! Don't blow off her tests because they are fairly difficult. Know her slides and do the article readings. If you are looking for an easy upperdivison business elective this may not be the class for you, but if you are interested at all in international trade you will get a lot out of this class.

Some people think her tests are challenging, but that's only because it requires alot of reading. Aside from the assigned chapters, you have to read articles too. But if you make sure to read everything and study extra stuff she mentions in lecture, you'll make an A. You dont really have to go to class either. She makes everything available to you online. Oh, and no homeworks or attendance. Your grade is based on 3 tests and an optional final you can take to replace the lowest test grade.

I really enjoyed IB 350 with Dr. Gerber. I never thought her lectures were boring and she's very energetic and makes sure you understand the material. Her tests are a bit challenging, but if you put in the work and study, an A is doable. Overall a great professor.

She really stresses how hard her tests are but if you study for them they are actually not that unreasonable. She does tend to have a couple of tricky questions on there but overall her tests are doable if you prepare for them. I usually did the read the chapters and the readings, did the review sheet, and reviewed the study sheet and the slides several times before the tests and I got a 95 and 98 on the first two tests. So getting a good grade with Professor Gerber is definitely possible. On top of that she is very excited about the topic of international business. She's very nice and interesting. Take her class if you can but don't blow things off.
