Overall, the course was okay. For the course, there was a course packet and optional books available. However, the course packet covered most of the information given in lectures and most of the information covered on the tests. The lectures were a little hard to get used to at first, but after a while they were okay. Overall, as long as you attend class and review the information covered...you will do well in the class. I also made notecards, which helped me remember the material. Oh, there are 3 tests and a few opportunities for extra credit. Overall, I think the class is great for any non-major science students. It just depends on how much effort you put in-getting an A is possible. I guess that goes for any class you take.

hold up, hold up....was i snorring? Guess so. can't possibly stay awake in this class. BORING and you only have 3 test. he gives you a course packet w/all the notes, but you have to memorize a lot of shit and you probably won't make an A. never again...300+ average population

I have to agree that the lectures are extremely boring, but the work is really not that hard. You have a chance at 6 extra credit points, just come to class and make a poster, so easy. He gives you a course packet with the all the test questions in the back, and if you go to discussion, the TA will give you all the answers. Boring course, but easy B. He's a nice guy, too. And if nothing else, you'll catch up on your sleep, he doesn't mind!
