Professor Charrier's a wonderful person and an interesting professor. She's patient and willing to help students understand the texts. The text is pretty dense however. Keep up with the reading (which is pretty hard to do) and DO THE HOMEWORK! Practice is very important in this class. You can understand the concepts all you want but if you do not know how to actually apply anything you're basically screwed. The tests are pretty difficult (average for the second test is usually around 70 or so). But if you have to take this class, I strongly suggest taking this with her.

She is probably the best professor in the Accounting department. She is extremely fair, and she had the best personality of any professor I have ever had. She makes mundane accounting seem as interesting as possible. I strongly suggest to take her.
