Adams is a great professor. Since he is based out of the English department, he grades your essays very carefully. He demands quality writing. A "B" is guaranteed, but it will be challenging to get yourself an A. Go to office hours at least twice a month and rewrite your papers. Students who did that received A's. Of course, that's time consuming.
