The best professor I have yet had in the English department, and I have had a fair number. If he can't get you interested in English then you are a sad, sad person. This was a class I looked forward to every time. The discussions were lively and the questions Warren would ask to guide the discussions were excellent. When you turn in rough drafts, he will actually edit them and give you CONSTRUCTIVE comments. (i.e. he will tell you what you're doing that is good, as well as bad). Take him.
