she grades her minutes exercises, which she names as "attendance" really harshly. she tries to make the class exciting but ends up standing up there in awkward silence as the class simply stares at her. she has no mercy if you are borderline.

Susan Szmania somehow makes a class that could and should be so interesting be really, really useless. She lectures straight from the texts and reading is a really, really good idea. However, on your papers, minutes exercises (pop quizzes), and final portfolio, she's really subjective in grading. She's really hard to talk to and doesn't really try to help you at all. If she doesn't like you you will not make an A in this class.
