Dr. Somerholter is an awesome professor =) The Advanced Speaking and Writing course was my favorite German class last semester. She assigns a broad range of reading/writing material that helps you improve a lot =) The course takes a some work to go through all the material thoroughly, but it's all worth it!!!

I took the business german protion with Kerstin. She is a wonderful professor! She is really engaged in teaching the class and no matter what time of day it is, she always has lots and lots of energy. Moreover, she is a super-genius. She speaks 7 languages, has 3 bachelors degrees, 2 masters AND a doctorate! She clearly cares how well her students do and wants to see them succeed. The class itself does take some work to get an A in.
