Student reviews of Maria Shahan
Review from a student who took SPN 327
I thought she was okay. The course was pretty easy (basically a review of the grammar from beginning Spanish courses). She was sometimes hard to understand (there was a bit of a language barrier involved), and she ocassionally expected you to know things she hadn't taught. I blame a lot of the problems on the coordinator for the class, though, because she often didn't know what would be on the test. There wasn't too much work involved, but there was homework every night. Also, I don't all the details, but someone in my class said that the professor accused her of cheating when she went to the writing center for help on a paper (so be warned).
