Dr. Rhodes is great! He is so warm and friendly and I enjoyed going to his office hours. The class was a little more challenging than I thought it would be in that you have to learn how to explain math to kids in a way they will understand. There is homework due every week but it is pretty easy. The first half of the semester we had a quiz every friday. Tests: 1 take home test, 1 timed in class test, and a final. We worked in small groups everyday and then had 10-15 minutes of discussion with the whole class. Dr. Rhodes is an excellent professor.

Prof. Rhodes is a very nice guy. But his lectures are nonexistent - there practically are NO lectures. However you still have to show up to class (which is a waste of time) to take the quizes and turn in the homework -which were both usually weekly. The good news is that, provided you study on your own, you can make whatever grade you want to. Just don't expect to come out with a thourough knowledge!
