Student reviews of Joy Penticuff

Review from a student who took N 311
Penticuff's lectures are pretty interesting. She is very enthusiastic during her lectues and she tries hard to keep you from falling asleep. Also, she does a review the day before the exam and sometimes it's word for word fromm the exam. The only down side is that she comes late almost everyday and seems to be a little bit absent minded, but the class is over all easy. I would say take her over any of the other teachers.
Review from a student who took N 311
She is definately the N311 professor you want. She always came 15 min. late and cancelled class once or twice simply because the video we were supossed to watch was poor quality. N311 has a lot of supplemental reading that you are supossed to do, but Penticuff will narrow it down to 3-4 articles per test. Her test reviews the class before the exam were wonderful, though she did not read word for word from the exam to us. She is very flexible and we persuaded her to let us do our last test on the last week of school take-home since we were bogged down with other things. Also, go to class because one day hardly anybody did and she gave us an extra pt. on our final class avg. Definately take her, she will make your life so much easier because she really wants everybody to make an A!
