Review from a student who took RHE 306
Though this teacher has an interesting personality, he recently finished grad school and has standards that my high-school AP teachers never dreamed of. I was writing essays of the caliber of my girlfriend in English II and getting D's whereas she had 95+. You get opportunities to rewrite all the essays, but unless you have an empty schedule and all the time in the world, you probably won't get around to it. A total of two people in my class ever rewrote anything. However, in Nydam's defense all my D's somehow earned me a B in the class? Anyway, I'd say not to take this guy unless you're a steadfast lover of english, it's not a blowoff as this class should be for an engineering student, etc.
