Chill professor. Not the best lecturer as he just tends to regurgitate his slides which can lead to a boring class. But he is a funny understandable guy and overall I think he cares about how his students are progressing.

Dr. Novak's lectures, unfortunately, can be very boring. He distributes class notes and covers them during lectures, being slightly redundant, and it doesn't help that his voice may make you want to sleep. Dr. Novak's course is structured so that you must attend lectures, with clicker questions available online. Also, his exams are multiple choice, and most are just clicker questions, making his class easy to memorize and be successful. The assignments are excellent, and will make you a better developer, but one thing I found missing in the assignments were the lack of actually implementing data structures on your own, enabling you to get by through the course without really truly understanding data structures well.
