Very good professor. He is very personable, and funny, and tries to make his lectures entertaining. Has a thorough knowledge of international affairs, and very intelligent opinions. The reading is a bit extensive, but it is interesting (mostly from Foreign Affairs), and you don't really have to do it to make good grades with him. He also posts all his lecture notes on the internet which is very convenient. Excellent professor.

Overall, Nishino was a good professor. His lectures are very informative and provide a thorough knowledge of foreign affairs. However, to some extent he emphasizes his opinions too much (not in grades though). The reading is rediculously huge. Some of the material could easily be cut. If you want an A it will be tough. Tests are mainly essay with about 20% MC (most difficult MC in my life). He posts all his lecture notes on-line and is an excellent lecturer.
