The conspiracy theory course was not at all what I expected. It seemed like it would be a survey of the popular conspiracy theories, but instead it was focused on analyzing why conspiracy theories aren't true. Oral presentations, writing assignments and a ton of reading. There is not an atmosphere of open discussion in this course unless you agree with the professor's opinion. If you hold a dissenting opinion, keep your mouth shut or be prepared to be ridiculed openly and voraciously. Do not take this course if you want an easy A or even a not so easy A. Do not take this course if you have a heavy course load. Do not take this course if you want to learn anything about the details in the popular conspiracy theories. However, if you want to be browbeaten into submission and have someone else's opinion shoved down your throat for 16 weeks then by all means sign up for UGS 302 Conspiracy Theory!!!

Wish I had never taken this class. Way too much work for a freshman level class. Like the other reviewer says, DO NOT take this class if you have a heavy course load!! Science and engineering majors be wise and stay away!
