Kris wasn't exactly one of my favorite professors in the category of grading fairness or lecturing. Her lectures are pointless to go to other than attendance and work points. What she teaches you is basically common sense and can be compared to a remedial high school course. I honestly wish I would have taken a different professor for this course. The grading for speeches is incredibly ridiculous and I'm not just writing this out of my own angst but others received grades that didn't match their performance as well. She takes a point off for every 15 seconds you are over on a speech and grades pretty harshly. If you are doing a powerpoint for your presentation, make damn sure you have it saved to a couple of locations--because if you can't pull it up, she isn't understanding. Her attitude isn't lenient and she can be somewhat short with you at times.
