This class is how shall I say... interesting to say the least. The majority of your grade is based off of your group project/presentation at the end of the semester. Also you only have 1 midterm and NO FINAL EXAM. After you are finished with your presentation it's just basically kick back and relax because there is nothing left to do in the class except listen to other people's presentation. I really don't know what to say for this class because it was just so...weird.......

horribly off topic professor, topics irrelevant, no true value of class found, tests irrelevant as she bases grades on group project

Required for everyone, no wonder its such a bore. I can't say I blame her though. Its a class of about 250 helplessly bored people minus the 10 people who scribble her every word and enjoy making 100s in every class. I'm sure she's great in smaller classes, but I have heard of other professors that can pull off the big class think, she's just not one of them. Don't get me wrong though, it's really friggin easy to get an A in that class, that is if you remember that you're actually enrolled in it and do the work. All the (shotty) notes are pre-printed in the cource packet, all lectures are recorded and posted on the web (a plus for you Lib Arts-undeclared folks). Just be sure to go to disscusion, the TA tells you all you need to know for the tests, etc. Summary: huge class, easy, but so easy that you might blow it off and end up doing bad. Just take it at ACC and save some money.
