same class as 303, but with an extra project. tests are easy if you just go over the notes, which are posted online. i recommend that you go to class, because he fills in the outline really well. you can still get by without going to class, but he does ask bonus questions that come from his lecture that you wouldnt know otherwise. tests are a combination of multiple choice, fill in the blank, and short answer. probably the best professor ive had at UT.

I thought Prof. Kim was an awesome professor. Readings are assigned everytime there is class but they're short. He posts his lecture notes online and his lectures are interesting. He shows us clips from modern movies and relates myths to reality. He's also really funny which is a plus.

Kim is a good professor. One of my favorites at UT. He is very nice and approachable. HIs lectures are interesting and he has a good personality. He also makes extensive use of multimedia including clips from movies, and in these ways shows a lot of effort in making an interesting lecture. Stay on top of the readings and lectures and you will do great on the tests. They are pretty easy and the only reason he may not grade fairly is because he grades too easily. He seems to competently cover the breadth of mythology, giving a good overall picture and knowledge, especially suitable for an introductory course. I recommend this for CC majors and elective classes alike. Good class, good professor. Nice guy.

I loved this class! If you're going to take intro to classical mythology, take Kim. It's story time 1 hour, three times a week! Make sure not to miss class though...99% of the exam material comes straight from his lectures. The exams can be tricky if you haven't prepared...read over your notes and memorize names and stories. I really looked forward to this class, and I'm sure you will too if you have an interest in mythology.

Such an easy class. Hahaha, take this class if u want an A. And Dr. Kim is pretty entertaining also, cause he's always talking to himself. It's cute, and he's cute too! Hehe...gluck!

Dr. Kim was hands-down the best professor that I have ever had at UT!!! He is funny, cute ;) and knows his stuff really well. He is just awesome...I wouldn't even consider not taking this class with him...if you're going to take Mythology you have to take it with Dr. KIM!! I still, to this day, talk about that class with my friends...good memories....haha...you'll get a good laugh from him every day. I didn't miss class once, even when I woke up 6 minutes before class and it was pouring outside. I ran to class in the rain because it is just THAT great!

Prof. Kim is an awesome teacher. He goes over all the stories in class, so most of the time, you can get by without doing the reading. He's also really entertaining, and he does a good job of relating these ancient myths to current times.

Yes-this class is great. The professor is very knowledgeable about the material and he presents it in a very interesting way. There are 2 midterms and a final. The tests were not hard-I would just recommend making notecards to help with reviewing the material. I would also recommend that you keep up with the readings. So, overall...the readings, class lectures, and the professor were great!! Yes, you can make an A.
