Joe is an awesome teacher. He made learning a whole lot of fun and the concepts easy to grasp. He was very approachable and made sure students could reach him through e-mail or office hours if needed.

The main problem I had with this class was the fact that 80% of your grade in the class was determined by two tests, your midterm and your final. That wouldn't be so bad by itself, but you get a false sense of safety taking his quizes - they are relatively easy if you read everything assigned and put some effort into it (I had a 95 average on my quizes). However, the midterms are ridiculously hard. I got 70's on both midterms and ended up with a C in the class.
