Review from a student who took JPN 330
I love Hatanaka-sensei as a person, but I don't really like her teaching style in Japanese 330. I've had her before in JPN 325K and L and found her lectures to be alright. But in 330 which is the LAST Japanese class and supposedly "advanced" she uses way too much English and the Japanese she uses is too simple. Unfortunately you don't have another choice in a 330 prof, but just don't expect your Japanese level to sky rocket on account of this class. You'll have to do some studying outside of class for that.
