Review from a student who took ECO 304K
I took this course in Fall 2001. Hansen told us that there was a notetaker for his class and that those notes would be available at Paradigm on 24th and Guadalupe. Therefore, I stopped going to class completely and just relied on intense cramming before each test. Basically it all boiled down to spending the day before the test reading the textbook chapters and studying the notes thoroughly. I spent about 7 or 8hrs for each test doing this, and I got out of the class with a around a 85, which actually got curved up to an A.

I took a graduate class with Dr. Niles Hansen in about 1974. He had just returned from two years in France. It was one of the most enjoyable and informative classes in my student years. He had an incredible capacity to gain raport with his students. Even though he doesn´t know it, he was influential in my decision to pursue my career as a university professor of regional development here in Brazil. For that I am grateful to him.
