Review from a student who took N 325
Dr. Haertel tries to put on this nice front, but she is really pretty passive-aggressive. It really rubs her the wrong way when someone shows up even one second late or doesn't come to her class. She takes attendance every single class and makes people who aren't there early sit in the very back. She worries way too much about where people sit and how often they come to class if you ask me. She caused a lot of distractions just by fussing at people who came in even 30 seconds late. On a positive note, she really tries to give lots of supplemental information regarding lecture material, such as case studies and exam reviews. However, she says the wrong things a lot of the time during lecture and confuses the class, which is definitely a setback. She gives a lot of opportunity for mistakes as there are 5 exams throughout the semester for 325. If you do badly on one test you can easily make it up.
