Professor Gemberling knows her stuff and she's pretty interesting. She's amiable and wants to help everyone understand. Definitely buy her course packet since it'll save your life. I compared my notes with my boyfriends for his stat class and my notes were way more comprehensible. Just listen to her example problems, follow along in class and you'll be fine.

Eh. She's okay. Nice lady, poor curriculum. Fairly easy class basically over Microsoft Office. You learn Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, some Windows...nothing you couldn't learn on your own. Beware: you still must pay attention...the tests are designed to reward those who come to class and actually stay awake. And believe me...staying awake is not that easy.

This class is pretty easy if you listen to what she says in lectures. Definitely buy her course packet because it's hard to keep up with everything she says otherwise. The tests can be pretty tricky because of the time crunch. There's not a lot of work to do in the class as you have only 3 excel and 2 written homeworks to do.

Gail is a really nice person, and she's great to talk to in office hours if you happen to have any questions. From this class, I got more confidence in using Excel and Powerpoint and I learned that I never want to use Access again. Class was sort of boring though, because a lot of times you were agonizingly going over stuff that you already know how to do. Also, sometimes the test questions were really picky. Overall, its a pretty easy A.
