Dr.Famulari.Dr.Famulari....what can I say. Her lectures could be boring, but if you go to her office hours it really helps + she wants us to excel. However, on my last test, I surprisingly made 84.4% (i was expecting about 90%) which according to her marvelous curve is a C. Frankly i don't understand how 84.4% could be a C, if i got that in my calculus class i would get exempt, but thats the way the cookie crumbles. She is a good teacher, but Hammersmash is better. Goodluck. (you may need it)

UT needs to pull its head out of its ass and fire her. she sucks. the bell curve system is unfair. I got a D in her class and had to reatke it. When I retook it, i got an A because her bell curve will screw you over. Crammers beware. this class is not book heavy. she tests more on notes than book.
Review from a student who took ECO 304K
She's got great examples, a great smile and lots of energy. It's hard to feel tired, but then her grading is tough. I fear a B but I have learned a lot and I enjoyed the class!

She's a nice teacher, and everything is curved. Dr Famulari is also fairly organized. Unfortunately she teaches hard stuff and grades everything pretty hard.
Review from a student who took 304K
I had no trouble in this class. If you understand the basic concepts, the course is pretty easy. I thought Famulari made the course interesting as she is obviously obsessed both with teaching and with economics.

Indeed everything is curved....BELL curved!! It really brings people down in some cases, as I made a 92 on the last test and she made it a B. That is unfair! Therefore she has a very low percentage of A's. She does post her past exams on her website though, so do check them out, as they will benefit you. She's very much in love with economics and is hilarious sometimes.

BELL CURVE!! KILL ME! Test questions are right off her old tests posted online, so they are EZ. This semester, B<93.
Review from a student who took ECO 324
She's pretty straightforward. While everything was curved, she said at the beginning of the class that the curve would never hurt you; A would be at most 90+, B=80+, etc. Overall, her class was pretty easy

I read the comments that the other people made. I do not know what people are blaming about. I thought her lecture and the quality and quantity of the class were so valuable and interesting. I also thught the grading was completely fair. If you go to class and take a note and if you think the questions like an economist, the test were not hard at all.

This prof. makes economics very easy. She spells everything out for you and does lots of examples, so as long as you pay attention in class, you don't need to do much outside of class. Take a practice exam or two (which she posts on blackboard) and the tests won't be very hard.
