Chris is a really likable professor. The problem is she sucks at explaining the material to her students and lectures are fairly boring as she merely goes through the handouts. Her midterms are fair as long as you keep up with the homework. Homework's aren't difficult conceptually, but half the battle is simply deciphering what she's asking for.

She is a very nice person but her lectures are terribly slow. The course material was fairly easy yet she insisten on crawling through the easiest examples. She also writes ambiguous if not unintelligible homework and test questions. I'm sure she would be a good professor for an elements networking course or an intro course, but not got an upper division networking course.

Annoying verbal quirks reminiscent of the boss in Office Space. She's nice, but the lectures are difficult to follow and student questions are often dodged, even though she seems knowledgable. The material is difficult and taking this course may be hazardous to your GPA. If you do take it, READ THE BOOKS and talk to your TA.

The material is easy, but her style of teaching is terrible.Homeworks range from hard to very hard and the questions are unclear and you end up getting really confused. Very ambiguous questions posed in hws. Tests are much easier and she is the best partial credit giver on campus. Very friendly and concerned about student progress, has loads of knowledge, but not an effective communicator. If your CS , you will have to take her in fall/spring for CS 310, there is no escaping that. Also-Dont let her niceness fool you into thinking that she likes you and that you will end up with an A. Best of Luck.
