Not the best prof in the world but definitely fair. He grades on improvement curve and likes to know his students. He has 2 midterms and a final. He weighs higher grades more and takes your improvement into account. I got a B- on my first midterm, an A- on my second, and the 3rd highest grade in the class on my final. I received an A in the class. Basically, you can make C's on your midterms and an A on the final and still have A in the class. His lectures aren't that grade and he cannot hear very well. Sit behind the TA and ask him to explain you everything. In Dacy's class you need the TA to explain you material or you won't do well so go to office hours. Also, the book (if you still use Mankiw) is really good and makes up for the lectures, so it's a good idea to read it.
