Dr. Brownstein is a funny guy and his lectures are very entertaining... especially since this class is all about sex! The tests are fairly easy and straightforward if you take the 2 hours it requires to study for them the day of the exam. The third test is open notes and there is no final exam. This class is an easy, fun, relaxing A.

It was almost always entertaining- he's a funny guy. There were only about 2 lectures that got boring. He is not always open to hearing other people's opinions. If you are an extreme bible-thumper then this class may not be for you. Also- my friends were split as to whether he is gay or a little homophobic. He sometimes excludes the gay population- that is until he gets to that particular topic. The class was a very easy A. If you go to class then there is not much point in even buying the book. All I did was look over my notes for 1 to 2 hours and made As on all the tests. The first 2 tests were multiple choice, fill in the blank, and some short essays that weren't very hard. The last test was supposed to be the same but open notes. However, he changed his mind and the "test" consisted of 5 EASY questions in which you could do with a partner. For every question you got right a point was added to your average. Then, after we took it our partners graded our papers. No one missed more than one in the entire class- they were that easy. Oh- and no final!!

Fun class, terrible professor. Brownstein is a jerk. Don't bother trying to have an opinion in his class or asking him questions. You'll be met with condescension and a pretentious attitude.
