Great professor! Great personality too. She makes the material easy to learn, and she has the class do group activities on the difficult things to make them easier to learn. The final is optional if you do well enough on your other exams. There is a mini research project you have to do, but I found it interesting.

Dr. Beretvas is an excellent professor. She is very funny and smart. She's also very lenient on grades. She likes class attendance and will greatly favor you if you do all her work. She makes the material fun and easy to learn. She is the best professor I had in UT. Even if I didn't get an A, I would still think she is awesome.

Dr. Beretvas is one of the best professors I have had at UT. She truely cares about her students understanding the material, and she does everything in her power to help you understand. She is more than fair when grading projects/tests. He lectures are very enjoyable (yes, she makes stat fun). As long as you go to class and keep up with the assignments, you will get an A. She has three tests, no final, and some pretty easy HW assignments that really help you out. She has an outstanding personality as well...which makes you want to learn it!

She is fantastic!! Lectures are informative but not dull and she prepares well enough for the test. Also, her TA is awesome too!
