This is the worse class ever. if you want the easy A then take the class. if you want to learn something, then DON"T take the class. I have never had a class which I felt like i had both wasted my TIME and MONEY than this class. She treats everyone like kindergarten students. you have crossword puzzles. open book tests. final is closed books but she gives you a pool of questions and if you recognize it, you can get a 100. anything with math she throws out. i didnt' even pay attention in class, yet i still got a 100.

I took her class over the summer, and I think she's really great. I got an A in the class, and she doesn't make it that challenging. But if you want to learn a lot about risk management, she's very knowledgeable on the subject. If you talk to her in office hours or ask during lecture, she loves to answer questions, and she'll give you a pretty detailed response about how you should handle a particular insurance problem. She really likes lectures to be discussion driven, so be prepared for that. Overall, she's really nice and is geniunely interested in seeing students do well in class.
