giovanni was a awesome prof to have! he is very friendly and makes the class worth going to. he is very concerned about the progress of his students, and will meet you anywhere, anytime you want. i met up with him numerous times over the semester, and it was more like being with a peer than a professor. the classes are more like open discussion and his presentation of the material is well suited for this type of class. he was born in italy, so that adds a cultural bonus, and he loves to throw in little bits of info throughout the year. all in all i really enjoyed this class. ciao.
